Blueboys Finish 13th at Cougar Spring Shoot Out

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois College men's golf team competed at the Cougar Spring Shootout, hosted by Illinois Central College at Weibring Golf Club on Monday, finishing 13th in a 15-team field with a 36-hole total of 665.

The Blueboys opened the day with a team score of 325 and then shot 340 in the final round.

Myles Kampwerth led Illinois College with rounds of 74 and 82 to finish at +14 and tied for 25th for the event. His three-over 74 in the first round marked the team's lowest round of the day.

AJ Odle recorded rounds of 82 and 82 to finish at +22. Teddy Walbaum finished the day with a 36-hole total of 172 (+30) and Emmitt Brokaw finished with a total score of 181 (+39). Drake Bartos shot 86-88 to finish at +32.

Zach Diekemper (+25), Isaac Anderson (+31), and Ian Otto (+35) also competed as individuals for IC.

Up Next
The Blueboys will head back to Bloomington for the IWU Invitational at Ironwood and Weibring Golf Course for a two-day tournament starting on April 4th at 12:00pm.
