SILVIS, Ill. – The Illinois College men's golf team competed in a weather-shortened event at TPC Deere Run on Thursday, as the Black Hawk Community College Invitational was converted to a one-day, 18-hole tournament due to course conditions.
The Blueboys finished with a team total of 304 (+24) on the par-70 course and finished in 9th place.
Teddy Walbaum led the way for Illinois College, carding a two-over 72 to finish tied for 12th overall. Emmitt Brokaw followed with a 74 (+4), placing tied for 19th in the field.
Myles Kampwerth added a 76 (+6) to tie for 29th, while AJ Odle rounded out the team scoring with an 82 (+12).
Drake Bartos also competed in the team lineup, posting an 83 (+13).
Competing as individuals, Isaac Anderson shot a 77 (+7), while Zach Diekemper recorded an 81 (+11) in the 97-player field.
