BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Teddy Walbaum led Illinois College at Prairie Vista Golf Course on Thursday as the Blueboys finished seventh out of 14 teams in a 36-hole, one-day tournament.
Walbaum posted rounds of 74 (+2) and 75 (+3) to finish at +5 for the day and lead IC. Myles Kampwerth followed with rounds of 76 and 76 to finish at +8.
Emmitt Brokaw carded a 78 in the opening round before improving to a 76 in the second round. Drake Bartos bounced back with a 76 in the afternoon round after shooting 82 in the morning.
AJ Odle recorded rounds of 79 and 81 for Illinois College.
The Blueboys opened the tournament with a team score of 307 in the morning round before improving to a 303 in the afternoon. Illinois College finished with a 36-hole total of 610 to place seventh in the 14-team field.
