JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College esports team dropped a 4-0 NECC Rocket League match to the University of North Dakota on Wednesday evening.
The series featured several tightly contested games despite the final scoreline. IC fell 2-4 in Game 1 and narrowly dropped Game 2 by a 3-4 margin. The team continued to battle in Game 3 but came up short 1-2 before the Fighting Hawks secured the sweep with a 5-1 win in Game 4.
Illinois College combined for seven goals in the match, highlighted by balanced offensive production across the lineup.
