JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – Illinois College delivered another strong performance in NECC Overwatch play on Friday night, sweeping the University of Saint Francis 3-0 in a road matchup.
Saint Francis held home map selection and the first hero ban throughout the entire series, but IC answered every challenge. The Blueboys opened with a 2-0 win on Lijiang Tower (Control), followed by a 1–0 victory on Colosseo (Push). The series wrapped up on Watchpoint Gibraltar (Escort), where IC pulled out a tight 3-2 win to secure the sweep.
The match proved more competitive than last week's outing, but Illinois College showed depth across the lineup from start to finish.
Meryn Davis led the way with a career-best 90 eliminations, breaking her previous personal record by four. With 44,402 damage dealt, she was a constant offensive presence and capitalized on the extended maps to stack eliminations. At her current pace, a 100-elimination series later this season feels well within reach.
Dwight Duijneveld added 78 eliminations and more than 31,000 damage, while Fray Moulton posted one of the most balanced stat lines of the night with 36 eliminations, 40 assists, and over 20,000 in both damage and healing. Carter Naeve chipped in 34 eliminations and nearly 19,000 damage, and Bunni Little anchored the support effort with 75 assists and an impressive 23,294 healing.
The 3–0 sweep keeps Illinois College rolling in NECC play as the team continues to build momentum heading deeper into the season.
