Aliza Rodriguez Named MWC Offensive Player of the Week

GRINNELL, Iowa – Illinois College's Aliza Rodriguez has been named the Midwest Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced by the league today.

Rodriguez scored both game-winning goals as IC opened the 2025 season with a pair of victories. The sophomore from Northglenn, Colorado, tallied the match's only goal in the Lady Blues' 1-0 win over Principia on Friday. She then added a pair of goals, including the match-winner, in IC's 5-4 win at Nebraska Wesleyan on Sunday.

The Lady Blues return to action tomorrow when they travel to Augustana. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m.
