JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – Central scored two goals in just under three minutes and made them stand up to post a 2-0 victory over the Illinois College women's soccer squad on Wednesday afternoon at England Stadium.
IC is now 2-2-1 for the season, and Central moved to 3-0-1.

The first half was a scoreless battle as both teams traded shots. The Dutch struck for their two goals in rapid succession early in the second period. The first came at the 52:52 mark and was quickly followed by the second at 55:02.
IC was able to out-shoot Central, 13-9, with
Katy Adler accounting for a match-high five shots.
Jourdan Stevens added two for the Lady Blues.
Stella Gonzalez faced nine shots and recorded nine saves while going the distance in net for IC.

It's back on the road for the Lady Blues as they head east for a pair of matches over the weekend. IC will face Manchester on Saturday (2:30 p.m. CST) and then take on Kalamazoo College on Sunday (10:00 a.m. CST).
