DECATUR, Ill.- Jarrett James tied for fifth individually, leading the Blueboys to a 13th-place team finish at the Take Back the Night tournament, hosted by Millikin University at Red Tail Golf Course and South Side Country Club.
The Blueboys opened with a strong first round, shooting a 299 at Red Tail Run. However, South Side Country Club proved more challenging, with elevated scores across the field. The Blueboys shot a 308 in the second round, finishing +39 overall for the tournament.
James carded an even-par 70 in the second round, finishing tied for fifth with eight others. His steady round included two birdies and two bogeys.
Teddy Walbaum closed out his tournament at +7 after shooting a 76 (+6).
Dylan Clark (80) and
Tobin Nell (82) completed the scoring for the Blueboys.

The Blueboys are set to compete in the 2025 SLIAC Men's Golf Championships at Timbergate Golf Course in Edinburgh, Indiana. The 56-hole tournament will take place from Sunday, May 4, through Tuesday, May 6.
