JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- Illinois College Esports' Valorant season came to a tough conclusion Monday night as the team fell to Coe College in the MVEC Playoffs, missing out on a chance to qualify for LAN.
The team started strong on Haven but ultimately fell 13-8, unable to overcome Coe's aggressive plays. Game 2 on Lotus proved even more challenging, with Illinois College struggling to find footing and dropping the map 13-2.
Despite standout performances from Noah Horsman (25 kills, 209 ACS) and Dwight Duijneveld (20 kills, 192 ACS), Illinois College couldn't keep up with Coe's momentum.
