GRINNELL, Iowa –
Abby Stevens posted a top 10 finish for the Illinois College women's swimming and diving team during the final day of the 2025 Midwest Conference Championships at the Russell K. Osgood Pool and Deck/Natatorium on Sunday.
Stevens finished eighth in the 1,600-yard freestyle, posting a time of 18:50.71. The Lady Blues also had
Abbey Glaser finish 16th (19:48.29), while
Delaney Goddard was 17th (20:27.11), and
Alyssa Piper 21st (21:23.69).
IC's
Julie Edwards finished 14th in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:36.15 and the 400-yard freestyle relay team of
Jena Sellers,
Lauren Sinclair, Glaser, and Stevens finished eighth in 3:55.59.
The Lady Blues finished eighth in the team standings with a four-day total of 152 points.
