JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College Esports team came up just short in a hard-fought NECC Overwatch matchup against UW–River Falls, falling 2–3 in the series.
IC started strong, claiming a 2–0 win on Lijiang Tower and edging out a 3–2 victory on Suravasa to take an early 2–0 series lead. However, UW–River Falls mounted a comeback, taking New Queen Street 3–1, then securing 3–0 wins on Rialto and King's Row to close out the match.
