JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College Esports program competed in two key conference matchups on Monday, taking the field in both MVEC Rocket League and NECC Valorant play. The Rocket League team fell 1–4 to Wartburg College, while the Valorant squad earned a 2–0 sweep over Southwest Minnesota State University.

Illinois College's Rocket League trio opened the MVEC series against Wartburg with a slow start, dropping Game 1 by a 0–4 margin. The team rebounded in Game 2 with a decisive 4–0 win but was unable to carry that momentum, narrowly dropping the next three games to fall 1–4 in the series. The loss sets up a crucial season finale against Gustavus Adolphus, where a win will be necessary to secure a playoff berth and advance to the MVEC Championship LAN hosted at Wartburg.
