MVEC Overwatch Battles Hard but Falls 4-1 in Season Opener

JACKSONVILLE, Ill- The Illinois College MVEC Overwatch team opened up their spring season Wednesday night with a 4-1 loss to Gustavus Adolphus. Noah Horsman led the attack for IC finishing with 52 eliminations and a 2.89 KDA. Horsman closed out the match with over 57,000 damage dealt. 

IC lost the first three games on Antarctic Peninsula, Colosseo, and Route 66 by a combined score of 8-3. In game 4, Meryn Davis, Dwight Duijneveld, and Noah Horsman came together to cutch a last second fight to pick up the win at Throne of Anubis 5-4. Illinois College would drop the last game of the night on a Hyrid map, Hollywood, by a final score of 3-1.
