Jarrett James Finishes 6th Individually, as Blueboys Finish 10th Overall

METAMORA, Ill- The Illinois College men's golf team traveled to Metamora Fields Golf Course for the Illinois Central College Cougar Fall Classic. The Blueboys finished in 10th place (310-307) on the weekend, finishing +48 for the two rounds.

Jarrett James continued his success for the Blueboys finishing in 6^th place after posting rounds of 71-73 to finish the tournament at +2.

Round 1 - 310

Jarrett James led the Blueboys in round one with a 71, followed by Tobin Nell and Teddy Walbaum with rounds of 79. Cole Bartels closed out the scoring for IC posting a 81 after round one.

Round 2 – 307

Day two was better for the Blueboys as Jarrett James led with a round of 73. Cole Bartels was able to bounce back and shoot a +5 (76) round, with Teddy Walbaum and Myles Kampwerth closing out the scoring with rounds of 79.

Illinois College White Team

The Blueboys entered two teams into the field including a JV team that ended up in 9th place for the tournament. Round 1 was led by Caden Tinsley who shot 72 including five birdies on the round. Ashton Sutton and AJ Odle both shot first round scores of 76 and Devin Brown added a 77 for IC. In Round 2, the JV team shot 315 led by Ashton Sutton with a round of 77. 

A strong performance for IC as both teams finished inside the top 10.

Jarrett James adds his name once again on the top of the record book tying his record for low 36-hole total at 144.
