JACKSONVILLE, Ill- The Illinois College E-Sports team competed in the second round of the MEC (UCL) SSBU playoffs after their win over Campbellsville University, and lost 2-0 against Miami University (OH). This loss does not eliminate IC as it is the traditional double-elimination style, but it does make the road to the finals a little longer.

Despite dropping the match 2-0,
Jake Petrovich had a very impressive performance in the defeat. Petrovich ended with six stocks taken while only losing three, and came up clutch for IC in big moments. After a "Kirby" took down
Julian Luaders, Petrovich stepped in with just two stocks left to defeat the world's #83-ranked Falco player.
Julian Luaders ended with three stocks taken, while
Matthew Hallanger and
Theodore Biela ended with two.
