This was a historic series for the program.
Lucas Barry broke our career records for goals and shots since tracking in the 2023 to 2024 season. He now has 141 goals and 435 shots, surpassing
Dwight Duijneveld's marks of 135 goals and 420 shots. Lucas is also closing in on the career saves and assists records.
Cooper Davis set a new single-series assists record, surpassing Lucas's previous record of 10 from a playoff match last fall. He also eclipsed the regular season record of seven, previously shared by
Loegon Pete and
Glenn Conway.
When IC established their offensive pressure, the goals came in bunches, making this one of the Blue boys most productive scoring series of the season. Just as encouraging was the team's resilience in bouncing back from a Game 6 loss to win the deciding Game 7. With two freshmen in the lineup, that composure shows plenty of promise for the team's future.
