ST. LOUIS, Mo- The Illinois College women's volleyball team dropped a contest to WashU Wednesday before conference play gears up this weekend. WashU went into the contest ranked #8 in the country amongst Division III.
This loss moves IC to 8-10 on the season and moves WashU to 15-4.
Set 1: 28-26 Set 2: 25-22 Set 3: 25-13
Ligaya Garibay led the Lady Blues with 12 kills in the match along with
Riley Drake with 11 kills.
Summer Brandis led IC in assist for the match with 14 and
Kahli O'Neal added 12 as well.
Defensively for the Lady Blues,
Ella Middleton ended the match with 14 digs. Both teams ended with a .213 hitting percentage, but the errors for IC was the difference in the match.

The Lady Blues hit the road once again as they get ready for conference play starting on Friday at Lawrence University to kick off conference play at 7:00pm.
