DECATUR, Ill. - The Illinois College volleyball team traveled to Millikin University and participated in the Millikin University Invitational Friday evening. The Lady Blues faced tough competition falling to the host Millikin 0-3 and Hanover College 0-3. IC now stands at 6-6 overall this season.Â

The Lady Blues battled Millikin to the finish in a tough competitive match. IC was led in offensive by
Paige Knuffman with seven kills while
Ligaya Garibay added six kills.
Summer Brandis had a double-double performance as she recorded 20 assists and 11 digs.
Haylie Orton and
Laura Kaiser each recorded a solo block.Â
Game 2: Illinois College 0, Hanover College 3Â
The second match of the day against Hanover, Garibay led the team with 10 kills.
Jen Humbolt was the defensive leader with 17 digs. Brandis was the team's assist leader as she recorded 30 assists in the second match.Â
The Lady Blues will travel to Illinois Wesleyan University on Saturday, September 23 to participate in the IWU Tournament starting at 10:30 AM.Â
