JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- Illinois College volleyball hosted #5 Washington University of St. Louis on Wednesday night. The team put up a tough fight but fell to the Bears after four sets 20-25, 15-25, 25-20, 15-25. This drops IC to 5-11 overall this season.
The Lady Blues were led by
Paige Knuffman reaching double figures in kills with 11.
Laura Kaiser followed closely behind with nine kills in the match.
Morgan Burr was able to set her teammates up for success tallying 18 assists. IC was led defensively by
Jen Humbolt with 21 digs on the night.
The team will return to conference play hosting Ripon College on Friday at 6:00 PM.
