LOUISVILLE, Ky.- The Illinois College men's golf team traveled to compete in the SLIAC Conference Championship on Monday and Tuesday. The Blueboys earned a third place finish with a final team score of 939 trailing the second place Lake Forest by one stroke. Webster University finished with the tournament win with a final score of 906.
The team was awarded the All-Sportsmanship Team, and was led by
Jarrett James earning First Team All-Conference and SLIAC Newcomer of the Year.
Louis Faivre received the All-Sportsmanship Award as an individual.
James led the way with a fourth place finish individually shooting 227 after the three rounds. He was followed by
Tre Wahlig who shot a 235 to earn a 13th place finish. Rounding out the top five was
Tanner Romine (240),
Louis Faivre (244), and
Dane Huber (247).
This wraps up the 2021-22 Blueboys golf season.
