JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- The Illinois College Blueboys golf team hosted the McNaughton Memorial Classic on Monday. The team earned a second place finish with a team score of 294. The second team for the Blueboys was able to finish third with a team score of 303.
Jarrett James led the way for the Blueboys with a first place finish in the tournament with a score of 70 after one round.
Dane Huber followed with a tie for fourth shooting 73 for the round. Rounding out the top five from the second place team was
Louis Faivre finishing tied for 8th (75),
Tre Wahlig tying for 13th (76), and
Peter Hauser tying for 20th (78).
The third place team was led by
Tanner Romine tying for fourth place with a score of 73. He was followed by
Samuel Frericks placing tied for 8th with a score of 75. Other significant finishers for the second team included
Cole Bartels placing tied for 15th (77), and
Tobin Nell and
Andrew McKillip placing tied for 20th (78).
The Blueboys will look ahead to host the Blueboy Inivte on Friday, 4/15 and 4/16 at 12:00 PM and 9:00 AM.
