OGELSBY, Ill.- The Illinois College Blueboys traveled to compete in the Illinois Valley Community College Invitational on Monday and Tuesday. The team ended the tournament with a third place finish and a total score of 598.
The Blueboys faced some tough competition in Parkland College who is ranked the top junior college in the country for men's golf.
IC was led by
Jarrett James who shot a 144 after two rounds to earn himself a fifth place finish individually. He was followed by
Tanner Romine (147),
Tobin Nell (153),
Tre Wahlig (155) and
Samuel Frericks (158) to round out the third place team.Â
The men's golf team will compete next in the Central College Fall Classic on Monday, 10/4 and Tuesday, 10/5.Â
