BLOOMINGTON, Ill.- The Lady Blues volleyball team began their season on the road taking on Illinois Wesleyan on Wednesday night. IC suffered a loss to the Titans after three sets with scores of 20-25, 14-25, and 17-25.
The Lady Blues were led by
Abbie Horstmann offensively recording seven kills in the contest.
Morgan Burr was able to set her team up for success leading the Lady Blues with 15 assists on the night.
Jen Humbolt and
Reagan Gifford were able to make an impact on the defensive side finishing the match with 10 digs each.
The Lady Blues will look ahead to their home tournament where they will take on Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in their first match on Friday, 9/3 at 6:00 PM.
