MONMOUTH, Ill.- The Illinois College men's track & field team competed in the MWC Championship this weekend hosted by Monmouth College.
The Blueboys earned three top three finishes and six top five finishes in the conference championship meet.
Tom Rexing finished second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.74.
Gavin Raines would also earn a second place finish clearing a height of 1.88-meters (6' 2") in the high jump. The other top three finisher was the 4x400-meter relay team of
Jacob Fedderke,
Elgin Scherff,
Collin White, and Raines placing third with a time of 3:36.60.
Other significant performances for the Blueboys included
Devin Boggs finishing fourth in the 10,000-meter run (35:47.14);
Dustin Murphy placing fourth in the 110-meter hurdles (19.82);
Elgin Scherff placing fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:47.10); and
Dalton West finishing fourth in the hammer throw (45.79-meters, 150' 3").
