MONMOUTH, Ill.- The Illinois College men's and women's track and field teams competed on the road at Monmouth College this Sunday.
The Blueboys would earn four top three finishes. The meet was highlighted by a first place finish in the high jump from
Gavin Raines who cleared 1.98-meters.
In the field events,
CJ Hanna was able to place fourth in the discus with a mark of 34.01-meters.
Dalton West was also able to make an impact with a fourth place finish in the hammer throw with a mark of 44.05-meters.
Other standout performances in the the running events included
Jack Douglas placing third in the 100-meter dash (11.31);
Connor Warhausen finishing third in the 5000-meter run (19:32.32); and the 4x100-meter relay team of
Tracy Slater,
Lucas Motley,
Jeremiah Miller, and
Jack Douglas finishing second overall with a time of 44.60.
The Blueboys will look ahead to compete at Greenville University on Saturday, 4/17 at 10:30 AM.
