JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The winter-like conditions that moved through Jacksonville on Sunday have forced the cancellation of the Illinois College doubleheader that was scheduled for Monday afternoon against UW-Platteville.
No make-up date is on the books for the Blueboys and Pioneers. Next up for Illinois College is a return to Midwest Conference play. IC will take on Knox College in a doubleheader in Galesburg, Ill. on April 17 starting at 12 p.m. That is moved up one day in anticipation of storms coming in on Thursday. The Blueboys and Prairie Fire will then come back to Joe Brooks Field for a doubleheader on April 20, again starting at 12 p.m.
