JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College track & field team hosted its final indoor home meet of the season on Friday night, the unscored Hilltop Invite. The Blueboys and Lady Blues had a number of top performances, but the biggest highlight came from
MacKenzie Heinz as the junior broke a 13-year old school record in the women's weight throw.
Heinz's throw of 46-11.25 (14.30 meters) came on her sixth and final throw of the event, giving her the second-place finish in the event overall.

Anthony Flores was fifth for the Blueboys at 49-11.5 (15.22 meters).
In the men's pole vault,
Michael Nolte ended in fifth place by clearing 11-7.75 (3.55 meters). Currently, Nolte ranks fourth in the Midwest Conference in the event this season, with teammate
Sean Kisch ranking second in the conference.
Both Illinois College teams had runner-up finishes in the triple jump.
Dazha Shelby-Woods was just two inches behind the winner on the women's side with her leap of 33-4.75 (10.18 meters). For the Blueboys,
