The Rams up their record to 10-7 (5-5 Midwest Conference), while IC falls to 7-10 (2-8 MWC).

Azzy Hill canned a short jumper to get IC started.
Despite the lack of offense early, Illinois College came back to tie the game at 20-20 with just under eight minutes to go until halftime.
Mason Speer had seven points to spur the rally for the Blueboys and
Tim Parks knocked down a pair at the line to complete the comeback. Unfortunately, Cornell was able to end the half on a 14-3 run, going to halftime with a 37-26 lead.

The Blueboys then made a stop and went down to the other end with multiple chances to score, ultimately coming up empty. The next time down, Davis hit one of two free throws to make it 38-28 and the lead was never in the single-digits the rest of the way.
Speer was the only player for Illinois College to reach double-figures in scoring, ending the day with 14 points. Hays added nine and Parks had seven. Davis flirted with a triple-double for Cornell, recording 17 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. Anderson ended with 16 points and 10 boards.
