GRINNELL, Iowa – The Illinois College men's basketball team bowed out of the Midwest Conference Tournament with a 94-73 loss to Grinnell in the semifinals on Friday at Darby Gymnasium.
The Blueboys concluded their season with a 12-14 overall record while the Pioneers moved to 21-3.

IC was able to hang tough in the first half, and with 9:11 remaining in the frame, the teams were tied at 24. Grinnell went on a run in the late stages of the period to forge a 50-47 lead at halftime.
The second half was all Pioneers as they pushed the lead to as much as 26.
The Blueboys had a pair of players in double figures.
Seth Doss had 21 points and eight rebounds, while
DeShawn Nolan also scored 21 while grabbing seven boards.

This is the fifth consecutive season IC has reached the Midwest Conference Tournament, which is the current longest streak in the league and the longest since 2019.
