Box Score The Illinois College baseball team tallied one more hit than host Eastern Illinois University, but the Division I hosts were still able to claim an 8-2 win on Wednesday in Charleston.
Austin Peck collected two of the Blueboys' eight hits, while
Dalton Kerans blasted a solo home run in the loss.
T.J. Albers added a run-scoring single in a two-run fifth inning for the Blueboys.

Casey Fair all had scoreless outings. All eight Blueboy pitchers worked one inning.
Illinois College fell to 13-9 overall with the loss. They travel to Knox College for a Midwest Conference South Division doubleheader on Saturday.
