Box Score The Illinois College softball team suffered a 6-2 loss to Lawrence University on Sunday at the Midwest Conference Classic in East Peoria. The Lady Blues' game with Beloit College was postponed due to inclement weather.
Paige Cullison had three hits in the loss.
Anna Jacobs had two hits, scored a run and drove in another.
Courtney Kwasnitza also drove in one run.
Alese Speckhart took the loss after allowing six runs over seven innings. She struck out two.
The Lady Blues fell to 9-15 overall and 4-6 in Midwest Conference play. They host a doubleheader with MacMurray College on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
