Box Score The Illinois College softball team dropped a game to Carroll University, 9-7, on Saturday at the Midwest Conference Classic in East Peoria.

Anna Jacobs and
Abby Campbell had two hits apiece for the Lady Blues. Speckhart drove in two runs.
Courtney Kwasnitza and Cullison scored two runs each.
Leah Shumaker suffered the pitching loss after allowing six runs (five earned) over three innings. Speckhart allowed three runs (two earned) over the final four innings.
The Lady Blues fell to 9-14 overall and 4-5 in Midwest Conference action. They play their final two games at the MWC Classic on Sunday.
