Box Score The Illinois College baseball team cranked out 10 hits and 12 runs, while limiting visiting Millikin University to just two hits, en route to a 12-2 win in eight innings on Wednesday at Lenz Field in Jacksonville.
Dalton Kerans had three hits, including two doubles, scored two runs and drove in another in the win.
Adam Hamerlinck had two hits, and
Nick Dalfonso scored three runs and stole two bases.
T.J. Albers and
Matt Jagodzinski drove in two runs apiece.
Nick Visconti was the winning pitcher for the Blueboys, allowing two runs (one earned), while striking out six, over the first five innings.
Nick Duke followed with three innings of relief without surrendering a hit or a run to earn the save. Duke struck out three.
The Blueboys improved to 9-5 with the win. They travel to Principia College on Saturday.
