The Illinois College softball team split a nonconference doubleheader Saturday afternoon in Carlinville. The Lady Blues lost the opener, 3-0, but won the second game, 9-2.
Alese Speckhart suffered the pitching loss in the opener. Amanda Price was the winning pitcher in the second game.
Paige Cullison tallied five hits and two stolen bases over the two games. Brittany Fanella was 4-for-4 with three RBIs in the second game.
Paige Meyer and
Courtney Kwasnitza had two hits each in the second game; Meyer and one RBI, Kwasnitza had two RBIs.
The Lady Blues are now 8-9 overall.
