The Illinois College baseball team suffered a 6-1 defeat Wednesday night against the University of Illinois Springfield at Sacred Heart-Griffin High School in Springfield.
Andrew Morris tallied two hits and drove in the Blueboys' lone run.
T.J. Albers collected two hits and scored IC's only run. Morris and Albers each had a double.
Nick Kennedy took the loss as IC's starter after allowing three runs in three innings. Zack Hanlon, Andy McCarty and
Nick Visconti pitched one scoreless inning each.
Ian Richardson and
Nate Jones each gave up one earned run.
The Blueboys are now 11-13 overall. They host Cornell College for four games starting Friday.
