The Illinois College baseball team scored a 4-1 win at Millikin University on Tuesday as Andrew Morris and Matthew Pardo each hit two-run home runs in the sixth inning. Originally scheduled as a doubleheader in Jacksonville, Tuesday's games were moved to Decatur and the second game was rained out. The first game was called after six innings due to rain.
The Blueboys gave up one run in the bottom of the first inning before plating four runs in the top of the sixth.
Nick Visconti singled to set up Morris' two-run homer.
Jonathan Schrage reached on an error before Pardo's two-run blast.
Nick Duke started for the Blueboys, allowing just one run over four innings, before David Pardo finished off the win with two scoreless innings of relief. Duke walked four and fanned four. Pardo walked two and struck out three en route to winning his fourth game of the year.
Illinois College improved to 11-12. The Blueboys travel to the University of Illinois Springfield on Wednesday.
