The Illinois College softball team improved to 3-0 at the Midwest Conference Classic in East Peoria on Saturday thanks to a 6-2 win over St. Norbert College.
Amanda Price was the winning pitching for IC. She allowed seven hits and two unearned runs. She struck out three while going the distance.
Brittany Fanella was 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored, three RBIs and a stolen base.
Courtney Kwasnitza was 2-for-4 with a double and two runs.
Paige Meyer also had two hits, while
Alese Speckhart drove in two runs and Abby Campbell plated another.
The Lady Blues improved to 13-11 with the win. The Midwest Conference Classic concludes on Sunday.
