The Illinois College baseball team lost both games of a doubleheader Monday against Iowa Wesleyan College at Lenz Field in Jacksonville. Iowa Wesleyan won by scores of 9-2 and 6-5.
The Blueboys were limited to three hits in the opener.
Matt Jagodzinski and Ben Heinemann drove in the team's only two runs.
Dave Dalfonso had a double.
Nick Visconti took the pitching loss for IC after allowing eight runs over 3 2/3 innings. David Pardo pitched 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief.
Matt Schneider pitched one scoreless inning and D.J. Davis allowed one run over one inning of work.
The Blueboys tallied single runs in each of the first five innings of the second game but allowed a five-run sixth inning to surrender the lead.

Kris Poore and Heinemann had two hits each in the second game. Josh Krumwiede, Luke Gruender, Matthew Pardo, Poore and Heinemann drove in one run each.
Nick Dalfonso stole three bases.
Nate Jones took the pitching loss after allowing six runs (three earned) over 5 2/3 innings.
Brian Davenport pitched 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief.
The Blueboys fell to 5-8 with the losses. They host Monmouth College on Friday at 12 p.m.
