Matthew Pardo tallied two hits and drove in two runs while brother David Pardo pitched a complete-game gem as the Illinois College baseball team took a 3-1 victory over visiting Greenville College at Lenz Field on Saturday.
Matthew Pardo had a run-scoring triple in the fifth inning and an RBI double in the seventh. David Pardo scattered nine hits over nine innings of work, allowing just one run in the win. He walked two and struck out three.
Dave Dalfonso had two hits, an RBI and a stolen base in the win. Zach Hanlon, Andrew Morris and Matthew Pardo scored one run each.
Illinois College improved to 5-6 with the win. The Blueboys travel to Millikin University on Tuesday.
