Blueboys fall to Thiel, 56-45

The Illinois College men's basketball team lost to Thiel College on Monday, 56-45, at the "Mose" Hole/Wooster Kiwanis Classic in Wooster, Ohio.

The Blueboys led by seven points with just under nine minutes to play but Thiel finished on a 21-3 run. Brandon Berry led IC with 13 points and seven rebounds. Zeke Light added 10 points off the bench.

Berry was Illinois College's lone representative on the all-tournament team.

The Blueboys fell to 5-4 with the loss. They travel to Blackburn College on Saturday for a 2 p.m. tip.
