PELLA, Iowa – The Illinois College women's soccer squad dropped a 4-0 decision to Central in the season opener for both squads on Tuesday at the Central Soccer Field.

The Dutch opened the scoring with a goal with just under five minutes to play in the first half to take a 1-0 lead into intermission.
Central then added two goals less than a minute apart in the opening minutes of the second half to seal the victory. The Dutch added a closing goal at the 83:52 mark to close the scoring.
The Lady Blues collected four shots on the day.
Katy Adler led the team with a pair while
Olivia Hulsey and
Emma Eversgerd each had one.
