JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College men's tennis team pitched a shutout, blanking Kaskaskia, 7-0, on Tuesday at the Bellatti Tennis Complex.

The Blueboys rolled to a 1-0 lead by sweeping the three doubles matches. The No. 1 team of
Adi Basic and
Jeff Wernsing was a 6-1 winner, while
Glenn Conway and
Andrus Dupre posted a 6-2 win at No. 2.
Tejas Zala and
Ryne Breyer closed out the action with a 6-4 win at No. 3.
Singles action was much of the same as IC won all six matches in straight sets.
Grayson Dupre posted a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 6. Basic cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1, while Conway won 6-2, 6-0 at No. 4. Zala (No. 3) and
Andrus Dupre (No. 5) each had 6-2, 6-1 decisions. Wernsing completed the blanking with a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 2.
Up Next
The Blueboys will hit the road on Saturday for a pair of duals. IC will open the day against Simpson at 9:00 a.m. before taking on Central at Noon. Both matches will be played in Indianola, Iowa.
