JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College men's basketball team dropped a 79-87 decision to Lake Forest in a Midwest Conference contest on Saturday at Sherman Gymnasium.
The loss moves the Blueboys to 10-11 overall and 7-5 in conference play. The Foresters improved to 15-7 and 10-3 in the league.

IC had led the majority of the first half before an 8-0 run by the Foresters in the final 2:30 of the period gave them an 8-point (38-30) advantage going into the locker room.
Lake Forest did not look back and led for the entirety of the second half. IC was able to get within one possession on numerous occasions but was unable to grab the lead. The Blueboys were within two (58-56) with eight minutes left; however, the Foresters were able to use a 13-4 run over the next four minutes to ice the contest.
IC had four players in double figures, led by
Ty Lenhardt's 19 points.
DeShawn Nolan added 15, while
Seth Doss carded 14, and
Andrew Thomas 10.
