JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College clay target team finished among the top in all three categories of the final USA Clay Target League national rankings.
In trap, IC finished 3rd in the team standings. Individually,
Hannah Hopper placed second among the conference's female competitors, while
Adam Stuckemeyer placed third in the conference among male competitors and was 10th nationally.
The skeet category saw IC finish fourth in the conference, with Hopper placing second among female competitors and Stuckemeyer fifth in the male division. Nationally, Hopper placed second, while Stuckemeyer ranked 10th.
Finally, in the sporting clays division, IC was second in the league. In the conference's female division, IC wrapped up second, third, and fourth places thanks to Hopper (2nd), Reece Winebrenner (3rd), and
Emma Bowman (4th). Stuckemeyer finished second in the male division.
IC will compete at the USA Clay Target League National Championships this weekend (Friday-Sunday) at Bunker Hill, Ill.
