JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – Illinois College's Clay Target team had three individuals lead the three categories as it concluded the fall regular season by completing Week 5 of the USA Clay Target League action at the Jacksonville Sportsman Club.
IC's
Tyler Samm posted a perfect opening round and led the squad in trap with a 49.
Brice Stewart (who posted a second-round 25),
Hannah Hopper, and
Reece Winebrinner all had rounds of 48.
Aurora Baker also recorded a perfect round of 25 en route to a 46.
Adam Stuckemeyer led the squad in sporting clays with a 47 while Stewart was second with 43.
In the skeet category, Hopper and Stuckemeyer each hit 48 to lead the team.
Up Next
IC will travel to Bunker Hill, Ill., over the weekend to compete in the USA Clay Target League National Championships. The event runs from Friday through Sunday.
