GRINNELL, Iowa – Illinois College's
Katy Adler has been named the Midwest Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced today.
Adler, a sophomore from Mead, Colo., scored five goals in two matches last week, helping IC record its first two MWC wins of the season. In the 2-0 victory over Monmouth on Tuesday, she scored both IC goals on just five shots. In the 6-0 win over Cornell on Saturday, Adler scored three times (IC's first three goals of the match) and took 13 shots (both the goals and shots totals were one shy of a school record).
The Lady Blues will play their final home contest of the 2026 season on Saturday when they host Grinnell in a Midwest Conference contest at England Stadium. Kickoff is at 1:30 p.m.
