FULTON, MO – The Lady Blues drop match against Westminster in a non-conference matchup.

The Lady Blues now sit at 8-9 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

  IC 1 Westminster 3 (16-25, 16-25, 25-14, 17-25)
The Lady Blues were in a competitive set in the first, with each team trading points. The score was tied at 12 apiece before Westminster began a 13-4 run to take the set 25-16.

Just like in the first set, both were giving each other their best shots. Some errors by the Lady Blues allowed Westminster to give themselves a five-point lead. IC made a push to make a comeback, but the comeback came up short.

The third set was Lady Blues' best set of the night. Addi Briggs set the tone with an ace. With great play from Riley Drake and an eight-point run, the Lady Blues were able to cruise through and take their only set of the night 25-14.

Unfortunately, IC could not carry their momentum from the third set over to the final set. Errors were the killer again, as it allowed Westminster to take advantage and pull away to win the match.

Angelina Rogers had a great performance with 9 kills, while Kennedy Ostendorf followed with 8. Riley Drake and Mady Salisbury both had double-digit digs with 11 and 10.
