RIPON, Wis. – The Illinois College men's basketball team dropped a 67-62 decision to Ripon in a Midwest Conference contest on Saturday at Doc Weiske Memorial Gymnasium.
The loss snapped IC's five-game winning streak and moved the Blueboys to 10-10 overall and 7-4 in conference play. The Red Hawks improved to 4-16 and 4-7 in league.

IC jumped out to a quick 12-4 lead just five minutes and was able to hold the advantage until the Red Hawks tied the contest at 22 with 8:14 left in the first half. After the Blueboys moved back ahead, Ripon used a 9-2 run to take a33-29 lead into halftime.
The Red Hawks would hold that lead for the entirety of the second half. IC was able to get within two on three occasions, but could not grab the lead. IC was within three (65-62) with nine seconds left, but the Red Hawks hit a pair of free throws to seal the win.
The Blueboys had four players in double figures, led by
Andrew Thomas' 13 points.
Seth Doss added 12 points and a game-high nine rebounds while
Ty Lenhardt and
DeShawn Nolan each had 10 points.
