JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College men's soccer team put on a dominating performance en route to a 6-0 win over UHSP on Sunday afternoon at steamy England Stadium.
IC improved to 4-1-1, while UHSP dropped to 1-6-0.

It took all of 50 seconds for IC to take the lead as
Oscar Liogon Arenas put the Blueboys up 1-0, and it was all IC from that point on.
Joey Hernandez scored IC's second goal at the 35:11 mark and the Blueboys went into halftime with a 2-0 advantage.
The second period was all IC. Liogon Arenas scored his second goal of the match almost five minutes into half.
The Blueboys rattled off three goals in the late stages of the contest as
Aidan Gowin,
Tyler Lunning (off a feed from
Carter Uhlmann), and
Joey Hernandez, who scored twice on the day – his second coming off an assist from
Nate Kapitz – to put the contest out of reach.
IC was dominating, outshooting UHSP 30-1 in the afternoon. Liogon Arenas, Lunning, and
Joey Hernandez all had four shots for the Blueboys.
TJ Esseily went the first 73:39 in goal and didn't face a shot.
Andrew Mosham took over for the final 16:21 and recorded IC's lone save of the day.
