INDIANOLA, Iowa – The Illinois College men's soccer squad opened the 2025 campaign by battling to a scoreless draw with Simpson on Saturday evening at Buxton Stadium.

The Blueboys were aggressive on the offensive end, outshooting the Storm, 11-8, on the day. IC was led by
Tyler Lunning, who recorded a match-high five shots.
Carter Uhlmann added a pair of shots for the Blueboys.
In net, T.J. Esseily had three saves for IC.
